Dog lovers will be pleasantly surprised to see there is a dog park that boasts two gated areas for large dogs and a small and separate area for those of us with smaller canines. This is a great feature, as often little dogs are too afraid to run with the big dogs, so to speak. This dog park is 3.77 acres of pure puppy bliss.

There are two ski resorts here, a perfect place to visit during those snowy winter days, and there are camping facilities, fishing, and hiking trails as well. The views are breathtaking as well.
Though there are obviously many choices of activities near the trail, let’s get back to the trail itself. The Jordan River Parkway Trail on its own has a lot to offer. For one thing, it is paved. This means it is great for both hikers and cyclists and it is also handicapped accessible. It is open year-round and gets great reviews on apps like All Trails, where you can see over two hundred pictures of the beautiful scenery along the nearly 50-mile path. Utah has quite the system of paved trails but this is one of the best!
